Greetings All,
UPDATE: Prices would range from 5-15 USD for sketch commissions which would look similar to this, depending on details:
$5 Dollar commissions could range from anything from a profile sketch with minimal detail to basic character portrait. (#7 on the list above)
$10 Dollar commissions could get you something closer to numbers 2 & 4 (possibly 5 if not too much is asked for in detail in cloth, etc.)
$15 commissions could get you anything else with more detailed hair/character/clothing, etc, or from hips/torso and above.
Yupo Paint Drawings would range from 20-30 dollars because I need to use more steps and tools to get the job done. Plus, Yupo paper is expensive stuff!
**Anything more will have (most likely) a 5 dollar price up (such as extra detailing, a decent background which could include art nouveau elements or minimal surreal backgrounds). That does not include the already marked up prices that I have established (so if you want more detailing of a profile sketch you will probably get a 10 dollar price range rather than a 5 dollar one).
I WILL NOT DO: Porn, erotica, or fully nude pictures. I am willing to do like #1 which exposes upper chest/torso.
PAYMENT: I use Paypal since currently that is the only way I can imagine getting money from other people across states or countries! If you know of other ways I can get money reliably and legally from you if you want a comission then please let me know through a note.

Please note: Just in case anyone was worried all art trades/free sketches will remain that way. There is no call for you to give me money like some weird advertisement or bad business deal. All things promised as free remain that way!
I am desperately in need of money at the moment thanks to a fruitless search in trying to get a job currently (it is pretty much in limbo right now). Thus, I am wondering in the interest of people commissioning me for sketches and more detailed pieces? I would also love to ask for advice from experienced commissioners in how to start with basic pricing and how to work in getting money sent through my Paypal (I am a noob at this so please bear with me). I will be sure to make sketch portrait commissions cheaper and more affordable since at the moment that might be all I can offer until I get access to bigger scanners.
I will be opening up the option of maybe a traditional painting on Yupo paper (which would be similar to what I have hanging on my wall in my last journal; but can be seen specifically here at my photobucket; more detailed shots can be taken of them).
I really need the money and the help since I am currently a poor-woman! But I don't want to open up commissions if I have little interest in it. Thank you kindly everyone for reading this!

What Inspires Me to Be a Better Artist?
I was asked a question from an artist meme on tumblr that, I thought, was a good, if not great question, one which allowed me to express where I want my artwork to go, and, in the end, what inspires me to be better. I am going to copy and past the question and my answer below. Feel free to respond, I'd love to have a dialogue with you guys about my response or anything that comes to your mind.

How long does it take you to do one of these? I went through the same thing recently asking around in any forum I could on how to price my art and almost every answer is whatever your minimum wage is per hour should be your base price x every hour you work on it.
Honestly I could see you easily charge $10 minimum eaasy for one of these and up.
I don't know super much about paypal but I also heard there is a way to do paypal transactions through people who don't have paypal but I haven't brushed up on it lately.
(Also I'm super interested in a commission as well but I cant decide which charector I want one of or if you'd have fun drawing them lol)
